The "Rosas Resistance" was a small collection of individuals that banded together against King Magnifico and the growing oppression of his rule over Rosas under the unspoken leadership of Asha and Queen Amaya. Its remaining members consisting of six of Asha's closest circle of friends, the Teens (with one exception), along with her goat, Valentino and the living Star, which had become the source of Magnifico's desires, the resistance group sought at first to free the king from the influence of Forbidden Magic. After it became clear that this was impossible, however, the team instead aimed to strip him of his Magic Staff and remove him from power, allowing them to free all of the wishes that Magnifico had collected from the people of Rosas over the years and return them to their true owners and protect Star.
